Interactions between the Liparid and other animals
The Liparid has extremely limited interactions with other animals. Its habitat's pressure is so great that other animals can't survive if they go there. They might even be crushed as flat as a pancake if they tried!
However, there are a few fish that can survive down in the crushing pressures. For example, the macourid, ratttail fish, and the cusk eel can survive the great pressures of the deep. The animals do need a lot of adaptations!
Being the deepest filmed animal, only a few samples of the liparid has been found so there are extremely low interactions between the liparid and humans
However, liparids aren't loners. They were observed eating little shrimp or amphipods together and they were doing all this together in one of the most extreme environments on Earth. These observations showed that the deep sea fish down in the Hadelpelagic zone weren't idle, motionless, and solitary creatures as predicted before.
Usually, liparids don’t interact with humans because it is hard to get to the fish. These fish are mostly found deeper than 6000 meters under sea level which is a very deep level to place cameras and it is even harder to get submarines to the level where they would find the fish. A deep sea experiment used landers or camera platforms were sent down to the sea floor and stay for 2 days until the command to come to the surface is given. The platforms take 5 hours to reach the bottom of the ocean.
